Meet Your Teacher:

If you're at this page, you must be wondering about your student's social studies teacher. I spent 13 years in the Seymour Public Schools as a student, from the fall of 1985 through the spring of 1998, when I graduated from Seymour High School. During my four years at SHS, I partipated in varsity football, track, and swimming, while also taking part in the strength and conditioning program. Additionally, I served as statistician for the girls' basketball team, participated in the Spanish Club and National Honors Society, and earned honors all 16 quarters. In my senior year, I was named captain of both the football and track teams, and have been fortunate enough to coach in both programs.

The next four years (1998-2002), I attended Siena College in Loudonville, NY (visit for more information). While there, I starred in the world premiere of a play entitled Monster Island. I served on the college Judicial Board for one semester, and spent two years as the Press Secretary of the Siena College Student Senate. After eight semesters on the college's President's List, I graduated with Siena's History Honors Certificate, an Education Certificate, and was honored Magna Cum Laude.

After graduation, I was fortunate enough to land my dream job: teaching and coaching at Seymour High School! I have been teaching here since the fall of 2002.

In the summer of 2004, I married my college girlfriend, Stacey. We have two daughters and a son. While I no longer live in Seymour, I still am as active in the school as ever...once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat!
